Good advice Kiddyfreak, I would never go to an escorts place, as it could be a police sting, or her pimp setting it up to mug you. A women police decoy would never come to your house alone, the same thing with street girls in the USA, a police women would never go into your car, that's why before discussing anything a street HO has to get in a car with me, because at that point I know she isn't a cop. Damn I can't keep up with the police system in Mexico, as Federal police, state judicial police, and the non-judicial police or municipal police which is the ones we usually deal with called the preventive police{ policia preventiva) that try to prevent crime instead of investigating it. Then I also hear about public security police, and tourist police. You can get into trouble with the laws with US. escorts just another

is there are no LE issues. I will stick to the bar

I'm going to take a crack at this thread and offer my OPINION, on the subject.

It may be that there are no laws against prostitution in Tijuana, and I know it's almost impossible to cite any in their legal and civil codes. However, we still hear many people in publications such as the NY Times, and numerous sex websites that there are indeed laws against prostitution still on the books today, and the 'zona norte' the red light district' is really the zone of TOLERANCE and the only place in Tijuana, that will allow prostitution as long as you confine it to a few square blocks. { in other words you can fuck a Mexican hooker all you want in the zona, and as long as you do it in a hotel, you won't get in trouble with the law)

Here is what I would do regarding escorts. If I wanted an escort with the promised GFE service. I'd still continue to see escorts, but I would do it very discreetly, and I would have the agency have to escort meet me somewhere the agency doesn't send all the other escort too like Mc Donalds. We already know if the TJ police catch the escort she will get busted for something like a 'health code violation' and taken to jail. And you can bet your bottom dollar if she is busted the TJ cops will fuck with you too, despite what laws are on the books!! There are plenty of related laws the TJ cops could use on you to extract a bribe payment from you, especially if you have been drinking, as you can be fined just for having a liquor on your breath according to the Tijuana legal guide.

So this tells me the TJ cops can use plenty of leeway in fucking with a client if they wanted. There is no law against a man paying a woman for sex if (1) she is of legal age and (2) she is a consenting (not a coerced) participant.

The requirement that a prostitute have a health card is part of the administrative code, not the criminal code. It is sort of like the requirement that a taco cart have a license. If the taco cart owner/prostitute lacks the proper work permit then he/she is working in violation of the law. However the customers of the taco cart/prostitute can’t get in trouble for patronizing somebody without a permit.

I described to the attorney an incident in which a monger was walking on Revolucion to a hotel with a puta he'd pulled out of a Revo bar: the cops stopped him and told him prostitution is illegal in TJ outside the ZN.
