Question Anyone else have the Ascending and Descending Filters always resetting?

We all understand.. the shillers love the site just the way it is and want to be able to continue shilling indiscriminately (I wonder why?). I think that would be the Shill consensus.

There are good shilllers and bad shillers. Shillers are needed to find hidden gems and expose them in the market so we all benefit.. A good example is the new young and cute girl Naomi at EB . She has been in this biz for 4-5 months, working at 2-3 spas and nobody knows about her, those who know her keeping her for themslves. I tried her out a session at a west end spa she was working and she was amazingly good. Good massage, good fun, kisses well with amazing attitude. I dare say she is the best GFE girl in the market now.. Young and cute with fluent English and great attitude , massage and service. Come try her out on Monday and you will find out what I mean. She already have 3 bookings for Monday.

A good shiller knows who are the real gems. Bad shillers that misled the members are the problems . Bumping is getting out of hands since paid bumpers flocked in to this site. Something like "hey boss Who's working today? "

NOOOOO..... admin was sold out to a handful of whiners who rarely contribute anything in here but complaining about every little thing. Shillers are not the problem, some guys with multiple handles bumping non stop are the problem.

The Admin recentring made a change to the forumn to show random threads instead of the latest threads. Is he a moron for doing so? Votes are anonymous so vote honestly.

As someone that has a background in product and software development, this is a bizarre approach. They are imposing a restriction on all users instead of the problematic users. They went as far as removing the filter so that there is no work around way.

The people making the decision to change this should put themselves in the shoes of a user and try the site. You solved the shrill problem, congrats, but you now have a site that does not provide the info the users are looking for unless they know exactly what to search for.

The proper approach here would be to target the problematic users. You can be tracking ip addresses and device's meta data to determine who really is being abusive with shrilling. Put a reasonable limit on how many posts a day (10?) per ip/device. Most of us find the actual schedule useful, but just don't need the 50+ other comment/bumps. This might even get the promoters to be better with providing all the details they need in their posts. And this would hardly impact any other regular users and limit the unnecessary conversations.

Highly wish the change is reverted and consider an alternative approach.

Shillers are not the problem, some guys with multiple handles bumping non stop are the problem.

That's literally what you shillers do, keep bumping the same spas everyday.

You're completely the reason why whole threads have an ignore feature.

But it's pay-to-play so I get it.

That is honestly the best alternative right now, but I am seeing a ton of posts from other non toronto threads.
If the problem as a user is having shrills bump their threads to the top, I don't see how having now every other forum's thread appear on my page is helping.

And IMO, it's only a matter of time this feature gets gamified so that the shrillers will overrun it with their spam.

… if yer not using cellphone, navigations different but basically… Forums, New Posts, that’s the trick.

Only problem? Also shows threads f/ other cities & f/ ChitChat, etc … but Toronto is 99% of current msgplanet, & u can click ignore on those other threads.

Your motives are murky to me for this reason... you say its the bumpfest driving the rational for this but the ones causing it arent exactly clandestine... in fact id say you are likely on great terms with most of them

His motive is to drive traffic plain and simple. Making us work harder to find what we want meets that goal. If you’ve ever gone over to the chit chat you’d see guys post Nazi images and racist posts over and over in some threads yet the admin did nothing to stop it or ban them. So, don’t expect him to ban anyone if he’s not even banning those guys.

It doesn't work that well. The ones I posted a few minutes ago didn't show . Best to use Search function if you're looking for some spas and their threads. Just type in the spa name in Search function in top line. That will take you to the spas and the info you are looking for.

If you retry it after a few minutes, yer right... but if u try again after an hr or so , it recycles & works again.

Xenforo s/w seems 2 have some control to limit 2 many searches... mebbe 2 stop hackers f/ crashing the site.

I think this will be my approach for now.
Seems to give me the most direct access to what I'M usually looking for without doing a search.
