A modest vision for our humble Etown section.

Burnman poses a very important question, and i've given this some thought.

We've got a pretty nice friendly group just starting up over here from scratch, on a clean slate, upon which we can create whatever type of forum our members desire.

I do desire to include all Etown brothas in our sharing of their pooning experiences, insights and intel, but in a spirit of fun, entertainment and feeling refreshed after participating. After all, we're travelling the same road for awhile, aren't we?? (when we come to a fork in the road, we'll take it).

I'd like to see an amicable working pooners' group gather together with the first emphasis on Reviews, then intel/info by PMs, then amusing and friendly banter, quips and joshing around.

We're looking for REviewers for sure, but Reviewers who fit into that mould of easy going, humorous, tolerant sort of guys...guys you'd want to hang out with, share a beer, sit around the local watering hole, or around a campfire, enjoy good times, commiserate with each other on shitty sessions, high fives on the great sessions.

All we want on this site is to enjoy the finest of sessions with fantastic women. The ladies, too, are travelling that road together with us, and are looking to have some fun and entertainment also, while earning a good living.

But most of us have previous scars and psychic wounds from constant flame wars, quarrels, cyber bullies trying to tear us down with snide, sneering remarks..insults..condescending comments..rants..loud, crude posters with an agenda..lap dogs, shills, white knights..on-line fights between SPs and posters. This state of affairs is sad and depressing.

Perb has many fine reviewers who avoid getting involved in this type of behaviour..Trawler, Fuzzy, AMan&hiscoq are fine examples of reviewers who post their stuff, enjoy some banter, and step aside. And, I don't want to categorize posters as being a massageplanet poster or a perb poster.

What matters is the quality of the character of the posting reviewer/participant.... How much empathy and consideration that person has for the feelings of the other members, male or female, of the group..Some of the finest intel I've gathered by PM is from "shy" posters, who don't post much, either reviews or comments, but are serious, hard core "fuckers". I want these guys here.

But all it takes to sour, soil and pollute the forum is just ONE shitty character/personality...it's that straightforward.

At this point, I would like to take full responsibility for being a complete and utter asshat as trintrin while on perb, and the members there were completely correct to have me banned. (holy fuck, i can't believe i'm putting dis in .)

That said, it's the virtual lack and absence of moderation on that site which allows the existence and proli****tion of the vitriolic, gangrenous and vituperative atmosphere of the existing forum, by allowing a few posters who spoil it for all to continue their psychically poisonous behaviour.

The definition of insanity is to continue doing the same thing and to expect different results. If we keep on doing things the same way, we can expect to get the same results. If our massageplanet etown section permitted the same behaviour as perb edmonton, we can expect to get the same type of forum.

Fortunately, diligent moderation here effectively zaps out the crappy behaviour before it can take root.

Since we don't have to flame any more in this forum to protect ourselves (Mods nip bad behaviour in the bud), we are free to express our creativity, share our fun, engage in entertaining exchanges...not a bad thing at all..

I invite all the personable, sociable perb and massageplanet brothas to post wherever they want, on both boards, without boundaries, or without being judged as a massageplaneter or perbert..

We have good examples of this level of tolerance and welcome on massageplanet for pooners posting on both boards..trawler, lotto, mick shagher, amanut, gumbyman6900, plumberboy..an illustrious list.

As part of that invitation, and recognizing the gentlemen who have helped start up our little group with their reviews posted both on massageplanet and perb, I'm opening up our massageplanet Etown REviewers Club to those who post reviews on massageplanet, regardless of whether those reviews are exclusive to massageplanet, or whether published on both boards.

I'd like to see our section as being the Tavern where we can have many tables...the loud, brash jaunty posters can be whooping it up at their table, while the shy, quiet introspective types can still enjoy their companionship at their own table, and can clink glasses with their louder compatriots in celebration of fine posse.

Or as Our campground, where we can support many different types of personalities around different campfires...the farters and belchers and burpers way over in one corner enjoying their beans and chili, while their other brothas who enjoy a more "refined" fare can still enjoy their own peaceful campfire, all co-existing in a relatively harmonious spirit.

I agree with Trintrin.

In addition, why do we have two forums? Same reason as we have more than one local tv channel, more than one radio station and more than one dish on the menu. Not everyone has the same taste and tolerance level. I've lessen my visit to the other forum since the flame wars get old very fast. I like it here where mods step in when things start to get out of hand.
