Yesterday, Costa Rica became the first country in Central America to legalize same sex marriage. This is the single most offensive disgrace to the human race. Getting married is supposed to be a holy and sacred act. These gay people have forced the human race to change the meaning of marriage to the point where it is no longer holy and sacred. Yeah, for me watching two guys kiss is gross, but I would not deny anyone's right to do so. A couple of gay people I have known find public displays of affection between heteros gross. I find plenty of things offensive - bad manners, smoking, spitting, suffering stupid people, belching, couples fighting in public, nose blowing at the dinner table, etc, but I would not make any of these things illegal (except perhaps public spitting and snot rockets). Personally I initially objected to the idea of same-sex marriage but I eventually realized I was wrong. I had this idea that gay people were frivolous and irresponsible party people. Some of there are, but that is true of some straight people as well. Take a look at the straight people around you and ask yourself how many of them you trust to be loyal partners and good parents until their children are ready to be independent and leave home.

If a married couple (man and woman) chooses not to have children does that mean their marriage is not legitimate?

If a married couple chooses to not have children then are they by your definition, not a family?

What makes you think it a religious point of view? Marriage is a public law. It doesn't have anything to do with your religion or your denomination. It's a law for every single human, whether you are religious or atheist.
