Warning! Weirdness at 3547 St. Clair East

Blue Moon at 3547 St. Clair East closed on March 31st and almost immediately a new place opened upstairs. It has a "Spa" sign and I don't even know if it has a phone number.

Anyway, I went there Saturday morning. It's in a strip mall on the south west corner of St. Clair East and Kennedy Road. When I drove in I noticed that the door up to this Spa is to the right of the old Blue Moon on the right and immediately to the left is some kind of unmarked social club. It reminded me of the sort of semi-anonymous place that the I used to see as the hang outs on news reports of New York mob families like the John Gotti crew.

As I'm parking, I notice an older guy in his 60's just sitting outside having a smoke. I ignore him and go into the spa where I have a good time with Sally, a nice, slightly milfy Asian with good English. The place is new, fresh and clean. Door fee was $40 for the HH and an extra $80 for a slow body slide to completion. I had a very good time with her and everything was typical of my experience at Asian MPs in the past. A couple of other people have mentioned to me that they've had great times with the other girl there so I think the place could be a new gem.

But as I was leaving I opened the door and noticed a good dozen middle aged guys all hanging around my car, smoking and speaking some Southern or Central European language. I know they weren't interested in the car itself because it's a 10 year old POS SUV. Also, the rest of the parking lot was full so why single out my car? I just walked right up to it, clicked the remote lock which made the car beep and a few of these guys jumped in a startled fashion. I stared straight at the guy standing at the drivers side door as I approached it. I was unshaven, had on a black leather jacket and sunglasses so maybe I just looked a little bit like an asshole they shouldn't mess with, so he backed off. I got in, started the engine and started moving. They all got out of the way quickly and I drove out without looking back.

I'm wondering if these guys had anything to do with why Blue Moon closed and maybe they're now trying to intimidate the customers of the new place so that it closes too? It's too bad really because it's in a rather innocuous, crappy little strip mall across from the cemetery on the north side and any MP in it wouldn't interfere with any other business. I doubt these guys would have been hanging out outside during the winter, but now that it's getting nice and warm, they could be hanging around out front being jerks like this. If you like a totally anonymous experience without any hassles then consider this a warning.

I've only met Sally (or Sandy or Sady or Somethinglikethat) and she's definitely Chinese.
