I have had Sonia on my radar for awhile, but for one reason or another hadn't been able to connect until recently. I booked through her website, and tried out a package of items that cost $300 for 90 min. A bit expensive, but I splurged a bit to get there. I tried the Lingam steam, which was sitting my naked ass over steam and herbs...It was OK, I could see doing that on occasion. Got a foot massage, that was great. Had a good massage with some gloved assistance at the end, left with a skip in my step. Good therapeutic experience all around. Sonia is a cool lady with a great attitude who does a good job. Don't go there expecting a young hottie she is attractive but older and this is about therapy nothing else.

Sonia has been mentioned for years.

Yes, she is a bit older, but has the energy and attitude of someone in their 20's, but the maturity and gracefulness of someone in their 40's.

I had seen her a year ago...twice...both good experiences.

She Caribbean. Black with short curly hair. Average height? She’s an RMT and an osteopath and is really good at whatever she does.

I have gone to see her several times over the past couple of years (and over 3 different locations as she moved around). She is a very nice person and has a lot of skills. Her massages are great and she offers different modalities and services. I have tried a few and found them all to be great. However, recently went there and at the end she tried to charge me for a service that I didn't receive / nor ask for. She did remove it when I questioned it, but has made me question why she did that. I have not been back since and not sure if I will go back. Wish she was mobile as the location is not great for me. If anyone knows of a similar therapist that is mobile, please dm me

Hello gentlemen,

Past member here getting back into things.

After some conversations with Eastcoastdan I finally took the plunge to see Sonia and although uncertain what to expect, I found it a great session for what was offered.

I’m a benefits guy and there was no problem using them which is a great plus for the benefit users here.

Sonia is a warm kind women with a very down to Earth view on what she does which I really appreciated.

I initially found Sonia’s touch to be on the light side, to which I did comment in during the session. I received some education on her massage, how it works and differs from the typical ‘it hurts good’ mentality. I’ll be it sceptical after leaving on if she had worked anything out in my neck and back, I felt GREAT the next day so there is clearly something to it, so much as it is a repeat based on the relief alone!
As for the finishing touch, I encourage the curious cat to reach out to Sonia as she is forth coming on what is available.
I left with a ‘skip’ in my step as it was a total body massage, but if you’re looking for a GE experience (tease and skin) this may not be the stop for you. However if quality therapy and a special touch is your game, Sonia is worth your time.

The rest of Cheach’s review is right on based on my experience. As for her technique, we’ve talked at length about it. Osteopathy is based on gently manipulating the fascia surrounding the muscles and not the muscles themselves.The thinking is that by breaking up and releasing the fascia, the muscles, if sore, will also experience relief. When she is doing her thing, she goes by feel and experience and may alternate between massage moves and osteopathic moves, so it can feel very different from a deep tissue massage.

That approach does work for me and she got be back to work last year after major back and neck trouble using a combination of techniques.

I’ve seen her a handful of times through her different locations. Current spot doesn’t work great but she’s worth the occasional visit. Her style is clinical but friendly. I feel like a million bucks after

Sadly, Sonia is moving to Jamaica at the end of June. Sad for us. She’s happy about the move. In the meantime, she has extended hours and you can book on her website (through Booksy). She said she may show up once or twice a year and will keep regulars updated.
