Massage pricing

A quick question for the experienced Massage seekers.
MPs have different fees for 1/2 hr and 1 hr apts.

Is this the same for masseuse extra fees?

ie: if the usual rates are $40/$60/$80 for the varying levels of service for 1 hr.

Is it safe to assume that for a 1/2 apt, the extras are proportionately less.
ie ($20/$30/$40)

Or is the masseuse extra the same regardless of apt time?

1/2 hr appointments are too rushed, and are not priced proportionately to the hour...so per minute they are more expensive...plus the extras are the same price no matter what.

However, the extra IS the tip...don't contribute to hyperinflation during a deflationary recession by paying $20 for a HJ and then giving her an extra $20...that in effect makes it a $40 HJ!

You guys in Mtl don't know how lucky you are. Normally, your fee to the girl is the same for 30 minutes as it is for 60. Tips beyond that are always at your discretion of course.
In Toronto, the fees for a 60 minute session are considerably higher than those for a 30 minute session. And the 30 minute session fees are pretty much in line with Montreal prices, so imagine how expensive it is for an hour.
The door fees are already much higher than Montreal door fees. Often $40 for 30 mins, $60 for 45 mins, and $80 for 60 mins.
Many of the higher end places have their door fees and options prices posted on their web sites.

I moved from Toronto to City_of_Nervous_Drivers 4 years ago. Yes, the pricing is pretty brutal if you want one hour instead of half - MPs simply ask for double the tip.

I always paid $40 for 30 minutes. However, HJ was INCLUDED, no extra tip was required. $20 option would mean HJ with a top off.

And I remember Russian place that had a special - all nude HJ (30 minutes) for $60.

And Chinese place where I got 4 hands for $40 or $60 (I don't remember anymore), and HJ was included.

The price for options is the same, regardless of whether it's for 1/2 hour or 1 hour. Muster up all the self control you have and resist the temptation to give in to a masseuse who tries to charge you more.

Another attempt at price gouging I've seen recently is the $40 HJ. I was quoted that price at Sassy Massage a couple of months ago and I said no. The girl (who was quite good looking) had a hyperinflated view of her worth which made it even more satisfying to say no. I told her to bring in another girl and when she returned, she said no other girl would do a HJ for $20. So I got up and left.

On the way out, the girl behind the counter asked me how it went and I told her that the previous girl tried to charge $40 and that my understanding was that the normal price is $20. She agreed, and told me to go back into the room. She came in and finished the job herself, very well I may add. Now that's customer service.

Tired of that ''you guys are lucky in Montreal,bla bla bla'' speech.Economy is not the same in Montreal vs Toronto.The same as Monteal vs Dominican Republic where guys can have a girl for 20$ all day!

Incomes are higher in Toronto,so are houses,appartements,ect...If Toronto mps come to montreal they would have to adapt to Montreal 's economic reality.

I'm speaking as a former Montrealer who has had a few hundred massages in Montreal. I'm just saying that the value for the dollar in this hobby is far greater in Montreal than it is in Toronto.
If you had read my post, I also pointed out the difference in pricing structures which is very relevant to the OP's question.

I'm speaking as an ACTIVE montrealer who have been hobbying for over 20 years.NOBODY is doing anybody a favour,be it in toronto,Montreal or timbuktu.If toronto mps come to Montreal they,d have to adapt.Despite ''better valued dollars'' for the hobby in Mtl vs toronto,most regular folks can't attend mps on a regular basis.

Hey there HG Hunter, how about everybody? But that was 5 years ago. Actually, 30 minutes cost between $35 to $40 even 10 years ago. How is it possible to have the same price for a massage for 10 years? I guess 10 years ago, MP would get something out of the door fee, and now they work for the tip only.

I don't see a lot of sense in providing addresses of massage parlours that used to operate 4-5 years ago. I am sure there are plenty on last pages of Now and Eye. It's gotta be somebody offering more services for less money. Hey, that Russian woman I am referring to was not Anna Kournikova, but with my eyes closed, I really could not tell the difference.

sorry this is such a noobish question but I couldn't find the answer on my own (hey, I tried! ) what do you get for the extra 40 - 60 - 80 you give the girl? I imagine the lower end of the scale is a HJ, but even that confuses me a bit, because some of you seem to say that 40 is too much and it should be 20.

and since I've read here and there that a lot of girls don't offer FS, that can't possibly be the 80 option, so what is? and what's 60? BJ?

And tip. Tip or no tip? Some of you seem to say let's not inflate prices, and boy do I ever agree. I mean, it's already not "cheap" when you compare say, an hour with an agency girl (180 - 200). if you give 50 at the door, 80 to the girl, 20 tip, that's 150 for going to a MParlor? Might as well go all the way with an outcall, no? Though that's another discussion entirely.

So ya, if someone could clue me in on the 40-60-80 scale, I'd be much indebted to you

Typically, you should get a hj for 20, a topless hj for 40, a nude hj for 60, and a thai or body slide for 80.
Some allow touching with the 40 and 60 options and some do not. Touching is fairly obvious for the thai option.
Anything over and above that and you're on your own.
