La Bella - Receptionist - who is she?

So I was thinking of checking out La Bella and called their phone number.
The phone is answered by a "receiptionist", who you can tell is working from her house (hear kids in the background).
The receptionist sounds very nice on the phone...has quite strong English
I asked about meeting her and she declined. She did confirm that she is Chinese.

Just wondering if anyone has more intel on who she is and if she ever worked "in the industry - on the front lines" ?

Can't speak specifically about your La Bella girl. A couple of other places uses a university student (related to the owner) to answer the phone, perfect English and then text instructions in Chinese to the masseuses. If there is a walk-in, the girls text her to let her know they are busy. This way, the appointments are tracked for the owner and the girls don't need to speak English or respond to texts/calls during a session. The phone operator never visit the spas.

That post is very newb move and just plain creepy. Very awkward.

A few businesses were taking client feedbacks that the masseuse taking the calls/text for appointments was not clear/poor English/not organized/interrupted time /one handed, etc etc in the past. It's because to keep costs low, the lady masseuse had to wear different hats onsite to run the business for the clients. We the clients complained about the establishment for reasons stated above so places like Labella, TT and XP now have receptionists to handle appointments, text, phone calls and walk ins. This leaves the ladies who actually do the massages focus on the clients present at the establishment.
Therefore, alleviating the clients complains of the past.
Now we have a member curiousone64 making awkward requests to see the receptionist who answers phone/text/appointments to see her in person. Oh boy......really?!
Better establishments are now using receptionists but other ones are not still as they have not reached that level of volume. Do not be awkward again.

The receptionist at my dentist is easy on the eyes but I do not invite her to be my hygienist and clean my teeth during my appointment. There are actual hygienists at the clinic assigned to do that. I don't choose them.

There are the virtual receptionists who answer calls from remote locations but will never be seen. That does help businesses work efficiently and masseuses are more focused on us clients on the table.

The onsite receptionist has other purposes. If it is a very large health and wellness place, I get it. Otherwise their sole purpose is to be the eyes for the ownership. To make sure that the therapists are not up to anything that management is not aware of.

In one rare case, at a massage shop, the dedicated receptionist turned out to be available for massages, but only after she had observed that I had been there a few times before. Then she actually asked me if I wanted to come back for end of evening massage. Turned out that her cowgirl skills were far more advanced than her massage skills.

There are many MP"s over the years where the receptionist became a massage provider;
Legends - front end girl became a MP
The Manor - their one receptionist became a MP
The OLD VIP had a receptionist who later worked as a MP

Alot of the girls answering the phones realize the money to be made and decide to try it...some stay enjoying it, some decide that it's not for them.

She sounds nice on the phone...so was just thinking that she might of been a girl who used to be on the 'front lines"...

Somewhat disagree. To be at the top of the income scale in this fine profession, training and continuous learning is a must. The good news for those entering the profession is that some of the most dedicated clients are always willing to help teach them and help them improve their skills.

My comment was 'tongue-in-cheek' (thus the winking guy emoji). From some of the massages we've all gotten I'm sure this is what some of the girls think- you don't need training to jack-hammer a guy off- and that's all there is to their massages.

And second point to you...a guy asking about a girl on the phone vs many of the guys admitting how turned on they were by their dental assistant.

Now what sounds more creepy? The poor girl (dental assistant) has to do her job and if she only knew how disrespectful some of her patients were, she would certainly ask them to leave.

Total lack of appreciation and respect the people in the dental profession by some of the people in this forum.
