Welcome to the club. I have lost nearly $10K in business so far because of COVID-19, and it will get worse. I did get some new business but not nearly enough to compensate. It is going to be rough for the next few months, maybe longer.

No offense, just a joke. Believe me, I've had real losses recently way bigger than that...I mean actual loss and not paper loss. Just got to look at the bright side and remember that there's always other people way worse off than you...

I am lucky in that I can work remotely if the customer requests it or I just go in at night when I need to run cable or due major server updates. This CORVID thing has had no impact on my workload at all. If anything it has gotten a bit bigger as some of my friends have taken a few weeks off until this blows over. I am covering for them when onsite work is needed.

They were about to go belly up until I helped renegotiate some debt arrangements and injected $30,000 in working capital in exchange for a 15% equity stake back in early January. Perfect timing. Unfortunately my regular stock portfolio has been whacked.
