Booked an appointment with Mia this week based on reviews I read and some DMs. I was greeted by Mia who led me to the room and took my door fee ($65).

The place seems very new and definitely justifies the $5 extra for the door fee considering how much they seem to have put into the place. Room was spotless with thick towels and a great in-room shower.

Mia entered as I finished showering and welcomed me with a warm hug. She began the massage with the sheet on and I could tell she definitely knew what she was doing similar to what I had read from other reviews. This only got better when she removed the sheet and began using oil about halfway through. Conversation was good with her throughout - her English isn't the best as she has a heavy accent but definitely understood everything I was saying. I'm a low mileage guy so I opted for a HE and her finish was average. She wasn't too keen on following instructions. Cleaned me up and I proceeded to shower.

On the way out I handed her $50 since she had a good attitude throughout and I was planning to see her again. She then told me it was $60. I told her standard was $40 and she saved face by saying it was because she gave me a "deep tissue" massage. This was complete bs since I had neither requested a deep tissue massage nor is this standard from what I know. Also I've received much harder massages than hers at places like JR so it definitely doesn't justify a higher cost. Keep in mind there was also no touching on my behalf and no other extras involved so a standard $40 tip was all that was warranted.

I regularly and gladly tip $40-$60 for a HE depending on attitude and service but won't give in to bs upcharges just because the attendant feels like it.

I haven't seen this mentioned in other reviews of Mia so perhaps I was unlucky or she thought I wasn't familiar with standard pricing. Just figured people deserved to know. Aside from this, I'd rate the session an overall 7/10.

Your points are valid, market rates, she can ask but you have the final say. The end result is you are less likely to repeat. The spa image is more legit and less semi legit. Your review indicates there might be a conflict with certain attendants. Also market is slower right now. I have heard some legit attendants turned semi saying they are fed up with low paying legit services and have gone the semi legit route.

Based on my own experiences the spa is very clean and modern provides a unique venue above the industry norm for an above average massage.

Are you saying that mine and amber’s reviews aren’t honest? From the sounds of it, the guy liked the experience except for the tipping part. Man., I guess I don’t realize how things go in the low mileage world…

She doesn’t go nude. She’s never mentioned money with me ever nor count what I give her. I’d say massage wise she’s one of the best in the industry at the moment. HE is basic but good. Many guys appreciate her and pay premium. She is a lovely lady. I would be and get put off if any girl asks for what I think is fair or generous. Yes it’s our choice to repeat or not.

Another way to look at her point of view is she is worth at least $20 tip for the massage itself plus $40 for the HE

Yup, I would agree her HE did not match up to the hype at all for me. That part alone was solidly 4-5/10 but her massage is definitely above average. As always though YMMV of course, just my two cents.

Then again she is human and is working more days than she is comfortable or accustomed to. With the effort of massage im used to getting from her she needs more rest days.

Oh no man… I don’t think I am the type of clientele that would suit Mia.. which is why I haven’t seen her… or the other low mileage girls. The one exception was Lori because I was her first customer in the semi world … which she treated like a legit session.

I don’t know what to make of the “semi liberal” tag for the new attendants so I have been avoiding them. Right now I’m looking forward to Lily and Julie again.

Customers need a consistent basis from which to derive their tipping expectations. Having a specific girl randomly upcharge because she thinks her massage is better than others when customers have also experienced similar (if not better) massages elsewhere with no upcharge is a very odd business model and something I'm sure clients don't want. Up front communication needs to be the expectation for something like this and even then it would rub most customers the wrong way.

Maybe. When she works your forearms she will crack/ release the wrist. I’d tell her beforehand
